Request for Access to Information

The Act respecting Access to Documents Held by Public Bodies and the Protection of Personal Information, grants citizens the right to access records held by public bodies. 

Like all public organizations, the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is subject to the Loi à l’accès aux documents des organismes publics et sur la protection des renseignements. Under section 98 of this law, the person responsible for access to information at the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges has up to 20 calendar days from the date of receipt to respond. However, this period may be extended by 10 days, if necessary.
