Politique de développement social durable (available in French only)

This policy makes it possible to act locally and regionally in order to support and develop partnerships between local organizations. Its objective is to promote the development of our citizens, while respecting their abilities and interests, and the development of supportive communities in a safe and healthy environment.

The Politique de développement social durable is the result of a regional mobilisation carried out from 2006 to 2008 by a group of partners determined to commit themselves to social development in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Recently, an update process conducted in 2018-2019 made it possible to renew the policy thanks to the participation of 581 citizens from the territory’s 23 municipalities, as well as 121 representatives of organizations from the municipal, community, institutional and business sectors. This new version of the policy was adopted on October 30, 2019 by the council of the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
