The Société d’habitation du Québec (SHQ) covers the costs of the RénoRégion Program. The SHQ administers the program and delegates application at the local level to regional county municipalities (RCM) and specified municipalities.
In 2017, over $122,660 were disbursed within the scope of the RénoRégion program.
• Residential Adapation Assistance Program
The Residential Adaptation Assistance Program is intended for people with disabilities whose limitations affect their ability to perform everyday activities in their home. The program provides homeowners and landlords with financial assistance to cover the cost of eligible work designed to meet the needs of disabled people. The work must offer simple, cost-effective solutions.
The Société d'habitation du Québec administers the program in partnership with regional county municipalities and certain municipalities. The Société’s municipal partners determine whether the work in question is eligible on the basis of a report by an occupational therapist.
In 2017, over $138,535 were disbursed within the scope of the Residential Adaptation Assistance Program.
As of April 1st, 2018, the firm DGFP been designated by the MRC for the delivery of these programs.
